How can energy-saving vacuum pumps be more energy-efficient and more efficient?
This is the current vacuum pump facing the technical short board, but also the urgent need for innovation, at present, the oil-free screw vacuum pump mainly from the use of the pump and the use of accessories to reduce energy consumption, improve efficiency!
How can vacuum pumps be more energy-efficient and more efficient?
Friction work and compression work are the main power consumed by the vacuum pump. If you want to achieve energy saving and efficiency, you need to start with these two powers to reduce friction, reduce compression, and install exhaust filters to improve exhaust efficiency. Today, Filtering Brother mainly shares with you how to reduce the energy loss caused by friction and the method of reducing compression. We will discuss it in the next issue.

According to statistics, slide valve pump because of friction and loss of power accounted for between 25% and 30% of the total power, including mechanical friction and impact, liquid friction and gas friction. To reduce the hydropneumatic friction work, it is necessary:
1. Choosing the right pump oil can effectively reduce liquid friction, and such pump oil has the characteristics of low viscosity.
2. Moderately reducing the pump temperature is beneficial to keep the pump oil low viscosity. If the normal working pressure of the pump is maintained, experiments show that the temperature is increased from 50 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, the power consumption will be reduced by 8% to ten percent.
3. Improve the internal structure of the pump to make the intake and exhaust smooth and less bends.
4. Install an exhaust filter with low air resistance to exhaust more smoothly, thereby reducing energy consumption.
To reduce the mechanical friction, it is necessary to control the reasonable friction area, then optimize the mechanical structure, moderately reduce the contact surface, enhance lubrication, and optimize the quality of the moving workpiece. The mechanical collision is ignored by people, mainly manifested in the collision between the slide valve and the pump cylinder body and the collision between the slide valve stem and the sub-guide rail. Such collision increases the noise of the pump and also increases the power consumption. Similarly, there is also a factor that has been ignored for many years to increase the power of slide valve pump, that is cavitation phenomenon. Generally speaking, cavitation phenomenon mainly occurs in liquid ring pump, resulting in the illusion that there is almost no or little influence in slide valve pump. Tests show that a medium-sized slide valve pump has a volume flow rate of 110 liters per second at a high speed of 920 revolutions per minute, and abnormal noise occurs after only six hours of operation, resulting in sharp increase in power consumption, after many investigations, it was found that there were many small holes on the outer circle of the exhaust of the pump. After in-depth inspection, cavitation did occur, which is why the relatively large slide valve pump does not have a higher pumping speed.
The exhaust filter of the energy-saving vacuum pump can effectively filter the oil fume of the slide valve pump. The oil mist particles are collected after being filtered by the filter, which can realize reuse, save production costs, and achieve the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction. The power loss of vacuum pump is a challenge for the development of vacuum technology, but it is believed that the power consumption problem will be solved soon through the research of professional technicians.
